PAE

It's inevitable, the prostate gets bigger over time putting a squeeze on the urethra (think of the prostate as a doughnut with the urethra running through the middle). The result is trouble emptying completely, having to go more often, starting and stopping, or getting up in the middle of the night among other symptoms. PAE is a procedure that involves injecting microscopic beads through the blood vessels to stop the flow of blood to the prostate, thereby shrinking it.
